SON OF A GUN EP REVIEW

There are certain bands that can truly make you feel like your summer vacation just began. Picture this: You’re on the beach sipping on an ice-cold soda. Your shades are on, as well as the radio next to you. What do you hear? Son of a Gun is blasting through the speakers.

Son of a Gun exude garage rock/punk rock flair. In other words, they’re the kind of band you’ll want to listen to. If you’ve heard The Orwells or The Black Keys, it’s simple to relate the bands musically.

Off the EP, the song “Do No Right” is a tune you’ll want to show your friends when they hand you the auxiliary cord in the car. The combination of instruments and vocals gives you a carefree feeling. It’s absolutely glorious. In addition, “Co-Pay” is much more head-banging and rebellious. This band is a necessity to add to your punk playlist. Give it a listen and let Son of a Gun free your mind.
